Seth Sarai, O.D.
Dr. Seth Sarai has been practicing at Village Eyecare, also known as University Village Eye Center, for over four years. He has brought many valuable qualities and services to the practice, including state of the art technology for top notch diagnostic capabilities. Always at the forefront of optometry's advances, he stays current by both leading and taking part in continuing education and professional seminars.
Dr. Sarai specializes in ocular disease management, difficult contact lens fittings, and pediatrics. He receives high marks with bedside manner and communication on status of eye health. Dr. Sarai is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and VOSH. Dr. Sarai was raised in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. He attended Simon Frasier University with a degree in Kinesiology. He graduated from UC Berkeley with high honors and showed leadership in all of his clinical rotations. An interesting note is that Dr. Sarai is nicknamed 'Pepsi' by friends and family. His interests include soccer, swimming, traveling, reading fiction, and lecturing at local speaking events. Dr. Sarai loves spending time with his wife, two beautiful daughters and son. |
Mona Sood, O.D.
Dr. Mona Sood is a board certified optometrist specializing in the areas of specialty contact lens fittings (hard to fit, dry eyes, astigmatism, work/lifestyle considerations), ocular disease treatment and dry eye management. Also, Dr. Sood's thorough knowledge and experience in ophthalmic optics has continually helped patients in their comfort and design of their eyewear. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and two charitable organizations committed to quality eyecare and good vision for all, VOSH and the Lions Club.
Dr. Sood was born and raised in wonderful Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and graduated with honors in Biology and Chemistry, before heading off to the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry. Dr. Sood knows first hand how important good eye sight is to playing your favorite sports. She is an avid tennis player and a former Division I collegiate player. She loves traveling, reading about current events, and entertaining at with home with friends and family. |
